Courses and Events

We will be running an Alpha course - anyone is free to join! Alpha creates a space for people to have meaningful conversations about life, faith and purpose. Each session is made up of different elements, and it’s a space for you to explore faith on your own terms. No matter your background or beliefs, you’re invited!

Launching here at Beulah Baptist Church on 14 January 2026 at 7.00pm. Please register your interest with the office, by contacting them here. And please let us know of any allergies/special dietary needs.

 - Get to know each other, normally over a cooked meal.
 - Hear about a different topic of faith each week.
 - Chat about what you think! You can say anything you like, or nothing at all.

We will start on Wednesday 14th January 2026, 7:00pm until 9.00pm, at Beulah Baptist Church.

21st January - Session 2: Who is Jesus?

28th January - Session 3: Why did Jesus die?

4th February - Session 4: How can I have faith? 

11th February - Session 5: Why and how do I pray?

18th February - Session 6: Why and how should I read the Bible

25th February - Session 7: How does God guide us?

28th February (Saturday) - Session 8: Away Day. Venue to be confirmed. 

4th March - Session 9: How can I resist evil? 

11th March - Session 10: How can I make the best of the rest of my life?

What is Alpha?
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions designed to start an open and honest conversation around some of the big questions of life. Topics at Alpha include: Who is Jesus, why did he die, how do I read the Bible, how do I pray, how is the Holy Spirit, and does God heal today? Alpha runs all across the UK, in schools, homes, prisons, and online. 

Who is it for?
Everyone's welcome. No matter your background or beliefs, you're invited!

Do I have to keep going each week?
No! Alpha is a space for you to explore faith on your terms. There’s no pressure, no follow up, and no charge.
