The Marching Band first started to meet at Beulah on a Monday night when it became known that no band would be available to take part in the Sunday Remembrance Service held at the war memorial in Bexhill in 2013.

Around 12 people who were involved in the Boys and Girls Brigade bands or the Hastings Corps of Drums came together for the first time since the 1980’s and ‘90’s.   Uniform fleeces were provided by the British Legion and the band has named itself ‘The Reunion Band’.  Those involved play bugle, flute or drums.

After taking part on Remembrance Sunday, marching from Devonshire Square down to the seafront, the group agreed that they would like to continue to meet and hopefully be involved in future events requiring a marching band.
